Review: John Chow dot Com
I've
found many helpful websites and blogs as I've been learning about web
marketing and social networking. The amount of information
I've found has been staggering. One of the very informative site's
I've found is John Chow dot Com which is a blog that helps you
make money online. If you
do a
review
of his blog, he’ll link to you so his readers can check you out.
My initial research was not on making money with my blog, but rather
to educate myself on how to promote a web presence. This is something
I am a newbie at and need to ramp up for a couple of the other projects
I'm working on. This quest for information led me to John Chow dot
Com. Mr. Chow's insight on advertising, SEO, and social networking is
stated in a straight shooting and honest manner. His style is
conversational with a hint of mentoring. It feels like he is taking
you under his wing and imparting his hard fought knowledge allowing you
to benefit from what he has picked up over his career. At first I
thought the tone was a bit cocky, but after reading more I would more
aptly describe it as confident. John has been very successful in his
endeavors and it's no surprise that it shows in his writing.
I recommend this site for those who wish to monetize, generate
traffic, and/or generally promote your site's presence on the web. Mr.
Chow's site draws on other resources and not only provides a rich
amount of information all by itself, it's also a jumping point to find
other excellent resources.
I urge you to visit make money online to see for yourself, but here is a short sampling of some of my favorite articles:
His notes on advertising channels and other monetizing are also very
valuable and I will be heading back for more of that when I'm ready to
do things in that area.
Now I will offer fair warning here. You'll find the information I've
talked about, but don't be surprised if you end up craving exotic cars,
great food, tech gadgetry, and a few other things as well. John Chow
dot Com covers these topics and will make you salivate from time to
time. The recent post on a Mother's Day excursion made me update my to
do list: "Must find some good Korean BBQ, SOON!". Oh and a
Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR Roadster Too.
Trik out.
